Summer in the Alps’ 01/10/2010
Reg and I have always loved alpine holidays during summer. Often accommodation in Alpine Villages that can be expensive during the snow season becomes highly affordable in the summer. Summer is a time when wildflowers in the Alps are at their best. This year’s National Parks, Victoria, ‘Summer in the Alps’ activity program celebrates 2010 as the International Year of Biodiversity. Step back in time and explore the majestic Mount Buffalo Chalet with guided history tour through this amazing 100 year old building. Guided 45 minute tours will run four times a week. Saturday 26 December, 2, 9, 16 & 23 January – 1.00pm and 2.00pm Tuesday 29 December, 5, 12 & 19 January – 1.00pm Thursday 31 December, 7, 14 & 21 January – 10.30am Activities are free and suitable for the whole family, however an adult must accompany children at all times.
